Friends of Newlands Park AGM

The Friends of Newlands Park 2026 Annual General Meeting will take place on 14th October 2026 at 7.30 pm in The Whiteford Room, Newlands South Church, Riverside Road, Glasgow, G43 2EG.

All parkgoers are welcome to attend. The group will share what its volunteers have been doing, outline future plans and invite views on the park’s development.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to see draft designs for new play equipment coming to the park soon and offer feedback while there is still time to influence the design.

The group is looking for new committee members, particularly people with younger children, to help keep the park welcoming and exciting for all ages. The committee meets just four times a year. Anyone interested is encouraged to email info@friendsofnewlandspark.org before 7th October.

New volunteers are always welcome, with opportunities ranging from gardening and fundraising to social media, children’s activities and building fairy houses. Any time volunteers can spare is appreciated.

The AGM is a chance to meet the people behind this thriving community group and discover ways to help care for the park.
