Newlands+Auldhouse Community Council represents the views of the residents.

The role of the community council is to provide a voice to the residents of Newlands + Auldhouse and to act as a conduit between the local community and the decision makers at Glasgow City Council who can affect changes.

Listen

We meet monthly at the Scout Hall on Mossgiel Road, these meetings are minuted and published to ensure that all attending and the wider community are able to have a voice on matters that affect the life in Newlands + Auldhouse.

Discuss

The community council meetings are the primary mechanism for discussing matters that affect residents of Newlands and Auldhouse in the presence of local elected members and community police officers.

Act

Based on matters raised and discussed at the monthly meetings the elected members, community police, members of the community council and the community take away actions to be addressed for the next meeting.
